David Ringler has spent 22 years helping individuals, families, foundations, and non-profit clients achieve their goals through the management, preservation and growth of their assets. He believes the underpinning of success is a well-developed strategy that melds philanthropic, financial and legacy objectives, and ties them to all aspects of his clients’ lives. David plays an active role in his relationships. A hands-on approach ensures that he is able to help with his client’s changing needs accurately and better understand the various facets of their lives. He provides his clients with a succinct service model that focuses on three simple principles: Educate, Incorporate, & Communicate. He strives to keep clients educated about their investments, informed about the factors that influence their lives, and involved in the decision-making process for their portfolios.

David entered the financial services industry in 1995 and has spent his career working directly with portfolio managers at some of the world’s leading investment managers. He believes the breadth of his experience places him at a tremendous advantage when evaluating a portfolio manager’s past performance and future potential. He hold the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation, administered by The American College, and the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation, offered by the College for Financial Planning. He also holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 FINRA registrations, as well as life, accident and health insurance licenses in multiple states.

David believes a balanced life is the essence of happiness. He is dedicated to helping his community be a better place to live and work. As such, he is involved in various non-profit organizations, using his time to help them better engage with their donors in order to achieve their visions. He has been blessed with two daughters and two sons, and in his spare time he enjoys playing golf and hockey, cooking for his family and playing guitar for his children.

Among the reasons I chose to become a Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Advisor is because of my passion for helping to educate my clients about investing. As a financial advisor, one of the most valuable things I can do for clients is to help them understand the markets, our goals-based wealth management approach, and to help them understand their life priorities and the impact this can have on their individual wealth management approach. My advice and approach are guided by an interest in your life’s goals and priorities.

Life is always changing and growing more complex. Your needs and priorities specific to your family, work, health and home are continuously evolving. And since your finances are so deeply connected with the rest of your life, an investment approach that is specific to your unique situations can be helpful. Even if you’re accustomed to managing your wealth on your own, you may find value in having a relationship with someone who understands your priorities and who has the knowledge and resources to help you make more informed decisions, no matter where in your life you are.

My process offers a flexible framework we can call upon to help you identify and prioritize your personal and professional financial goals, including areas such as education funding or your lifestyle in the future. I offer potential solutions to provide the “fit” that may best serve your objectives, risk tolerance, time horizon and liquidity needs. I help you understand fees and expenses associated with your accounts.
