Therese Vita is a Financial Advisor and Certified Financial Planner™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.. She also is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®). After two years in the financial services industry, she joined Merrill Lynch in 2004. She practiced law for 10 years in Upstate New York after graduating from Albany Law School of Union University in 1988. Her prior legal experience includes real estate development and finance, contracts and trusts and estates. She is a cum laude alumna of LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York (1985).

Therese is a member of various cultural, social and professional organizations including Working For Downtown, the Bar Association of Erie County and Financial Planning Counselors of Western New York. She supports a variety of not-for-profits and sits on Advisory Boards for the American Cancer Society, Road Less Traveled Productions and Tennyson Court Senior Care Community.
