I am a Financial Advisor in Global Private Client at the Fifth Avenue Office in New York. Professional designations include: Certified Financial Planner certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.; Chartered Life Underwriter, a designation awarded by the American College; Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, a designation awarded by the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts; and Certified Investment Management Analyst, a designation awarded by the Investment Management Consultants Association.

My approach is built around a process: first, identify goals, constraints, risk appetite, and time-frames; second, gather data and transfer assets to Merrill Lynch; third, agree a financial strategy; and, fourth, execute, monitor and adjust. My team includes product specialists, for example, trusts. Our services include: discretionary portfolio management, stock option analysis, concentrated stock hedging and monetization, retirement planning and management, life insurance analysis and funding and a full complement of wealth and transfer services. My international and capital markets experience enable me to provide a wide array of investment services including helping you develop financial strategies, retirement planning, and portfolio development. I also work with clients and their advisers on estate planning issues or other specific needs.

Academic study was all in the UK, where I earned a BSc (Hons) from the University of Newcastle and an MBA from the University of Manchester, and I moved to the US in 1994. I am a member of American Mensa and the Mind Society, and I actively support the American Cancer Society.
