PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Rick Bothmer- a dual resident of Palm Desert, CA and Carlsbad, CA, he has been with Merrill Lynch since March, 1985. Rick earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Utah where he was awarded a teaching fellowship. He has also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College for Financial Planning. Rick is involved with the Big Brothers of the Desert organization.

Tricia Bothmer- Tricia teamed up with her husband Rick as a Financial Advisor in 1991 at Merrill Lynch. She earned a B.S. degree from the University of Utah. Community involvement has included Pathfinders, Barbara Sinatra Children's Center board member and affiliate, Kappa Kappa Gamma Desert Alumnae President, Desert Sun Social Columnist and den mother.

Russell Jackson- Russell has four years of experience in the financial industry. A graduate of Utah Valley University, he joined Merrill Lynch in 2004, coming from the insurance industry. Russell is an Eagle Scout and is fluent in Spanish. He is also a volunteer on the budget and allocations committee for the United Way.

Donald Schmitt- Donald joined Merrill Lynch in 1994 as an Administrative Assistant and was added to our team in 2003 as a Registered Client Associate. He became a Financial Advisor in April of 2007. Donald is a member of the Desert Business Association and is active in several desert charities.

Susan Barkwell- Susan joined the team in March of 2007 as a Client Associate to take on the lead administrative role. With a B.S. degree in finance from DePaul University, she spent 15 years in the financial industry in Chicago before moving to California in 2002. She has held a variety of administrative, client service and marketing roles in the industry.

Margie Hedger- Margie has been with Merrill Lynch for over 20 years and actually retired in 1999. However, she continues to assist our team as a Client Associate on a part time basis.

Molly Duthaler- Molly joined our team as a Client Associate in September of 2007 from the Real Estate industry. She currently attends College of the Desert.
